The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team defeated Ohio, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12, tonight in the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Classic at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Aneli Cubi-Otineru had nine kills and Amber Kaufman added eight for the Rainbow Wahine (1-1).

UH plays UCLA tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the tournament finale.
