MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, Oahu - A unit of Marines will conduct hand grenade practice using approximately 80 M-67 fragmentation hand grenades Saturday afternoon, Aug. 30, at the Range Training Facility.

Residents may notice more noise from the base during the training, Marine officials said.

The practice is necessary to prepare troops for combat operations in support of the Global War on Terrorism, officials said.
