Actor Owen Wilson, who has filmed two features in Hawai'i, is relocating to the Islands — at least as a part-time resident.
Wilson, 39, has decided to reside on Maui, influenced by a visit with good pal Woody Harrelson who has adopted an environmentally friendly lifestyle, according to In Touch Weekly. Harrelson lives in a completely solar-powered, sustainable community complete with organic farming.
"It's 100 percent green living," according to an insider. "Owen likes it so much that he made an offer on a home there."
Wilson did "The Big Bounce" nearly entirely on O'ahu and his "You, Me and Dupree" featured some O'ahu filming. His past hits include "Wedding Crashers" and a cameo in "Night at the Museum" has prompted an encore appearance in 2009's "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian."
