Niu Valley community to discuss boulder concerns

The Niu Valley Community Association will meet Thursday to discuss ongoing boulder concerns.
Twice in recent weeks, boulders have fallen onto properties in the community causing damage.
Last week, a 3-feet-by-2-feet boulder damaged a fence and a drainage hose when it came down a hillside and landed in the backyard of a home on the 600 block of Haleola Street in Niu Valley. The week before, a boulder scraped the side of a home in the community, smashing a gutter and a rock wall.
The association meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Niu Valley Middle School cafeteria.
