Two west-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway were closed for about half an hour this morning after police found an injured man walking on the freeway near the Houghtailing Street off-ramp.

The two left-most lanes of the freeway were closed about 3 a.m. after police found the injured man. Police did not say how the man was injured.

City paramedics took him to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

Traffic was diverted into several right lanes during the incident.

All freeway lanes were reopened a little past 3:30 a.m., police said.
