The Honolulu-based parent of Castle Resorts & Hotels said its losses widened during the second quarter due to the sluggish local visitor industry.
Castle Group said it lost $545,882 during the three months ending June 30, 2008, which compares with a loss of $170,208 in the year-earlier period.
The loss came on revenues of $4.6 million, which was down 5 percent from second quarter 2007's $4.8 million.
