HARBOR COURT BISTRO

Harbor Court Bistro, slated to open for full service to the public Aug. 4 has announced a number of new appointments:

General manager: KUNANI S. BLAKE, a 20-year food and beverage industry veteran, previously with a number of eateries, including Restaurants Unlimited, Dave & Buster's (Honolulu), Harley-Davidson Cafe (Las Vegas), and Hard Rock Cafe in Honolulu, Maui, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Restaurant manager: ISAIAH CHRISTOPHER DELSI, a 15-year restaurant industry veteran, previously with Transpacific Acquisitions and Restaurants Unlimited.

Executive chef: ALEXIO THOMAS CORLEON, with more than 15 years of experience, including at Haleiwa Joe's, Kane'ohe; Kapono's, Aloha Tower Marketplace; and Jackie's Kitchen.

Business operations manager: MICAH E. YOUNG, whose restaurant experience includes RUI Corporation, Grand Cafe and Bakery, Shanghai Bistro and The Bistro at Century Center.

BANK OF HAWAII

MELVIN K. HARADA has been promoted to senior vice president of Merchant Services at Bank of Hawaii, overseeing the department, including sales, service, vendor management, compliance, risk management, accounting and financial reporting.

Keith H. Wakamura and Alison M. Wong have been promoted to vice president. Wakamura continues his role as senior loan officer in BOH's business loan approval department. Wong has been a business banking officer at the Waikiki Ward Business Banking Center since 2004.

CHARTERED PROPERTY CASUALTY UNDERWRITERS

The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society, Hawai'i Chapter, has elected its board for the 2008-2009 year: president, Jacinda Elias; president-elect, Tyler Tokioka; vice president, David Doehm; treasurer, Russell Henna; and secretary, Young Park.

THE SALVATION ARMY

MAJ. EDWARD HILL and his wife, MAJ. SHELLEY HILL, are returning to Hawai'i as new divisional commander and director for Women's Ministries, respectively, of the Salvation Army's Hawaiian and Pacific Island Division. The pair was commissioned as Salvation Army officers in 1993 and first served as Leeward Corps officers, and later, divisional youth leaders in Hawai'i.

Since 2002, they served as Salvation Army Corps officers at the Pasadena Tabernacle Corps. in California.

YMCA OF HONOLULU

Michael Chinaka has joined the YMCA of Honolulu as chief financial officer, responsible for accounting, information services and human resources.

Chinaka, a CPA, was previously vice president and treasurer of Bishop Museum and director of finance for the Asia Pacific region of The Nature Conservancy.

HAWAIIAN WATERS ADVENTURE PARK

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park has promoted Takuya Ohki to general manager. He previously was vice president/controller of the 29-acre water-themed amusement park.

'AHAHUI KOA ANUENUE

'Ahahui Koa Anuenue, the nonprofit fundraising partner of the University of Hawai'i-Manoa athletics department, has elected the following officers and board members:

Treasurer, Bonny Amemiya; board members, Carolyn Berry, Albert Chee Jr., Robert Iopa, Ernest Nishizai, Raymond Ono, Kurt Osaki and Nick Teves Jr.
