Hilo's Whiting falls to tie for 27th at Futures Tour event
Hilo's Leah Whiting shot a 5-over-par 77 and was tied for 27th after the second round of the Duramed Futures Tour Falls Auto Group Classic at Crooked Creek Golf Community in London, Ky.
Whiting started the day tied for third in the LPGA developmental tour event. Mindy Kim was second round leader at 137 after a 68 today. Whiting was at 146.
Maui's Shayna Miyajima (76—151) and Kailua's Bridget Dwyer (75—152) missed the cut for tomorrow's final round.
