Contractors who renew their Hawai'i license online can get a 25 percent customer appreciation credit on the renewal fee and a 10 percent discount on the compliance resolution fund fee.

The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs' Professional and Vocational Licensing Division is offer the discounts to encourage more than 12,000 Hawai'i licensed contractors to renew their licenses online at pvl.ehawaii.gov/renewals.

The discounts are for online renewals only.

Contractors are required by state law to renew their licenses every two years.

Instructions for completing the online renewal and details of the online discounts have been mailed to each current license holder. Online renewals will be accepted until midnight on Sept. 30. Renewals will not be accepted online after that and contractors wishing to renew their license must submit their renewal by mail or in person to:
