Police are investigating a bizarre case involving the alleged abduction today of an infant by two teenage girls in Kapahulu.

The 1-year-old boy's mother called 911 later to report she had the child but police are continuing to investigate the case as a first-degree burglary and kidnapping.

The child was taken from an apartment while in the care of a girl, 10, at 11:30 a.m. The girl told police two girls, about 16-18 years old, forced their way into the apartment, knocked her down and fled with the infant and the child's baby bag.
