NFL: Chiefs rookie tackle could be out for rest of camp

RIVER FALLS, Wis. — Kansas City rookie left tackle Branden Albert could miss the rest of training camp with what the team is calling a sprained foot.
If the first-round pick out of Virginia does have to sit out the next few weeks, it could be a blow. He's trying to learn the left tackle position after playing guard most of his college career.
Coach Herm Edwards said Albert would be evaluated day to day, but he is unlikely to play in the first preseason game this week against the Chicago Bears.
Albert was injured during Thursday night's joint practice with Minnesota and was first said to have a mildly sprained ankle.
Herb Taylor, who appeared in only one game on offense last year as a rookie, replaced Albert in practice Friday.
