Honolulu ME confirms Ewa murder-suicide

The Honolulu medical examiner's office today confirmed last Friday's fatal shooting in 'Ewa Beach was a murder-suicide but declined to name the man and woman who died until their identities are positively confirmed.
Neighbors, however, identified the couple as Domingo "Bunny" Dikito, 39, and his 38-year-old wife, Della.
Autopsy findings determined the woman died of injuries to the heart, liver and lungs due to multiple gunshots and listed manner of death as homicide. The man died from a gunshot wound to the head and manner was suicide.
The case was Honolulu's fifth homicide of 2008. All have been resolved.
This year's other cases:
Jan. 9. Jenny T. Hartsock, 39, stabbed to death at 757 Gulick Ave. in Kalihi. Her husband Roy William Hartsock, 40, was charged Jan. 11 and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail while awaiting trial. Jan16. Janel Tupuola, 30, was beaten to death on Maluniu Avenue in Kailua. Alapeti Siuanu Tunoa Jr., 30, was charged Jan. 18 and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail awaiting trial. Jan17. Cyrus Nainoa Tupai'i Belt, 23 months, thrown from Miller Street overpass onto H-1 Freeway in Punchbowl. Matthew M. Higa, 23, was charged Jan. 19 and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. March 27. Jermaine Michael Duckworth, 24, shot in back of head, execution style; body found at Keawaula Beach (Yokohama Bay) in Wai'anae. Patrick W. Deguair Jr., 30, was charged April 5 and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
