NBA: Magic's Turkoglu is NBA's most improved player

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu has been selected the NBA's most improved player.
The NBA announced today that Turkoglu received 380 points, including 61 first-place votes. Memphis Grizzlies guard Rudy Gay was second with 167 points and 23 first-place votes, while Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge was third with 128 points and nine first-place votes.
Turkoglu, in his eighth NBA season, averaged a career-high 19.5 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game.
Last season, Turkoglu averaged 13.3 points, 4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
