HONOLULU--- The Hawai'i People's Fund and Hawai'i

Community Foundation will co-host Presentation Day, an expo for community

change on Saturday, May 17, 2008.

The event will take place at the YWCA of O'ahu, at 1040 Richards St. in

downtown Honolulu, from 2:30 to 5 p.m., upstairs in Room 201.

Meet Hawai'i People's Fund 2007 grantees, 30-plus community-based groups from

across the state, all working for progressive social change in intersecting

arenas: cultural continuity; environmental sustainability; food

sovereignty; economic justice; advocacy & rights for women;

peace and demilitarization; media justice; grass-roots, homegrown activism

for social justice;
