House fire under control on Pomaikai Drive

A Pomaikai Drive home near the YWCA Kokokahi in Kane'ohe caught fire this morning at about 9:45.
The home was being fumigated, so no one was home at the time, said Capt. Terry Seelig, spokesman for the Honolulu Fire Department. But because of the chemicals, the Hazmat crew was standing by.
The fire was under control by 10 a.m. and the home appears to have little damage, but Seelig said the inspector must still determine the damage and cause of the fire.
Seelig said the fumigant isn't flammable.
