Ever yearn to be onstage at the Hawaii Theatre — except you don't sing, dance, or tell jokes?

Your chance is coming up, with the inauguration of "The StarLight Lounge — Martini Madness," an evening of entertainment, games and bar service, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 9 onstage at the Hawaii Theatre.

It's a trial balloon that could evolve as a quarterly attraction for the after-work downtown crowd of 21 and older. There will be a hosted open bar and pupu, and entertainment (yet to be named) of the lounge act or piano bar realm.

Games are being organized by Ravenchase Adventures, the organization that stages treasure hunts.

Tickets: $50, which will include a one-year Hawaii Theatre membership, $25 for current member. Walk-ins will not be possible.
