Police are seeking information on how a 20-year-old Hau'ula man found unconscious Friday on South King Street in Pawa'a came by his critical injuries.

Physcians at The Queen's Medical Center, where Adam Joseph Turin remained in comatose state today, told police his injuries appear to be from a beating rather than fall. Turin has multiple facial fractures and swelling to his brain, said Honolulu CrimeStoppers coordinator Sgt. Kim Buffett.

Turin sustained the injuries sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday, when he was seen leaving the Internet Cafe on Kapi'olani Boulevard, and 7 a.m. Friday, when he was found lying on the ground fronting the AY Wong building at 1507 South King St. Turin was wearing a white T-shirt, blue denim long pants and carrying a black backpack when he left the Internet Cafe, police said.
