Open house presentations have been scheduled at 'Ilima at Leihano, an O'ahu senior living community, at the Leihano information center in Kapolei, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday May 7 and 17, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Leihano's information center is also open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. It is located at 891 Kama'aha Avenue, near the Kapolei Public Library and across the makai side of Kapolei Regional Park.

At the open houses, seniors and their families can learn more about 'Ilima and its continuing care retirement community. Phase 1 of 'Ilima at Leihano will consist of 26 garden homes and 96 apartments in a six-story building. Garden homes will be 1,450 to 1,570 square feet. Apartments will range from 650 to 1,350 square feet.

Groundbreaking for Phase 1 is scheduled for this summer.
