More lane closures from Fort Weaver widening
The ongoing widening of Fort Weaver Road means more road closures this week.
From today through Friday:
Southbound, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the left lane between Laulaunui Street and Old Fort Weaver Road will be closed for trench work tied to the installation of electrical conduits. The right lane will closed from Old Fort Weaver to Renton Road for portable concrete barrier installation.
Northbound, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be intermittent single-lane closures from 'A'awa Drive to Honouliuli Stream Bridge for lane-striping and concrete barrier installation.
The Fort Weaver Road project is expected to continue through mid-2009.
Motorists are advised to use caution and allow for extra travel time.
