Six films today in HIFF's Spring Showcase

Six films will be shown today at Regal Dole Stadium 18 theaters as the Hawaii International Film Festival's Spring Showcase continues.

The titles:

• "Young@Heart," 3 p.m. — A documentary on a senior citizen group singing covers of Coldplay, The Clash and 1970s classics.

• "Wonderful Town," 3:156 p.m. — A Thai town devastated by a tsunami rebuilds, with cathartic results.

• "Son of Rambow," 6:15 p.m. — A youth inspired by "Rambo: First Blood" attempts to make his own action epic.

• "Hollywood Chinese," 6:30 p.m. — A documentary on the depiction of Asians in films over time.

• "Miss Gold Digger," 8:45 p.m. — A Korean film about a woman with four suitors and her web of indiscretions.

• "Up the Yangtze," 9 p.m. — A documentary on the Yangzte's formidable surge of water — and its impact.
