The body discovered in a burned van yesterday on Kaua'i was that of an adult male.

Firefighters from the Waimea station found the body after extinguishing a brushfire in the area of the Russian Fort.

Police did not identify the victim but said a complete autopsy report is expected tomorrow. A toxicology report, which could take several weeks, may be required to make a final determination on cause of death, according to police.
