Want to celebrate Mother's Day with Island music and local-style laughs?

A Mother's Day Brunch With the Stars, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 11 at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina, assembles "American Idol" finalist Jasmine Trias, Grammy nominee Raiatea Helm, and OC16's comedians Da Braddahs.

Trias was the third-place finisher in "American Idol'" Season 3, Helm is a multi-Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner known for her falsetto style, and Da Braddahs — Tony Silva and James Roache — star on OC16's "Da Braddahs and Friends" series.

Further, there will be additional songs by Kristian Lei, more comedy with Kaleo Pilanca, and local vibes by Hoku -winning group Kaukahi.

Hawaii Pacific Entertainment is assembling the event, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. A breakfast buffet brunch will be served from 9:45 a.m., with music beginning at 10 a.m.

Tickets: $75, or $720 for tables of 10, plus a $2.50 service charge per ticket.
