Pedestrian, 13, injured in Waianae hit-and-run

Police are looking for a car, possibly a blue Honda, which fled the scene of a pedestrian accident today in Wai'anae.
The accident occurred near 85-752 Farrington Highway at 2:47 p.m. The vehicle struck a girl, 13, who was taken in serious condition to The Queen's Medical Center, according to Honolulu Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
The suspect car was last seen headed mauka into the valley, police said.
