State Rep. Angus McKelvey, D-10th (West Maui-Kihei), will host several legislative colleagues at a Lawmakers Listen event from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

The public session, meant to address community concerns, will be held at the West Maui Senior Center, 788 Pauoa St.

Also attending will be Rep. Kyle Yamashita, D-12th (Upcountry Maui), chairman of the Economic Development and Business Concerns Committee; Rep. Mele Carroll, D-13th (E. Maui-Moloka'i-Lana'i), vice chairwoman of the Energy and Environmental Protection Committee; Rep. Cindy Evans, D-7th (North Kona-South Kohala), chairwoman of the Public Safety and Military Affairs Committee; Rep. Robert Herkes, D-5th (Puna-Ka'u-South Kona-North Kona), chairman of the Consumer Protection and Commerce Committee; Rep. Karen Awana, D-44th (Nanakuli), vice chairwoman of the International Affairs Committee; and Rep. Pono Chong, D-49th (Kane'ohe), vice speaker.
