Cycling: Trek sues to end deal with LeMond

WATERLOO, Wis. — Best-selling bicycle maker Trek has sued to sever ties with three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond.
Company president John Burke said there was a "troubling pattern of inconsistent business dealings."
Burke said today that Trek filed a lawsuit in federal court in Madison. Trek has licensed the LeMond brand since 1995 and made road bikes under that name.
LeMond became the first American to win the Tour de France in 1986.
Trek is known for making bikes that Lance Armstrong rode in his Tour de France victories.
