"The Power of Desire: A Midsummer Nightmare," written by Reb Beau Allen, translates Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to the present day, placing the action in a dance club called The Forest, hosted by performance artist Coco Chandelier. The adult take on a classic comedy opens at 8 tonight and continues through April 12 at the Leeward Community College Lab Theatre; $10, 455-0549.
