The first Kaua'i Aloha Youth Camp, scheduled for Oct. 3 to 6 at Kahili Mountain Park, will feature activities ranging from a low-ropes course to alcohol and drug prevention education.

"We wanted to offer something fun and educational for middle school students during the fall intersession. This age group often gets overlooked," said anti-drug coordinator Theresa Koki.

Cost is $10. Scholarships are available, as is free transportation to camp.
