The second annual Maui Pineapple Festival & Homecoming will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kahului Cannery.

The free event features a pineapple cook-off, pineapple smoothies and food, a farmers market, ML&P Company Store, Made-on-Maui products and crafts, cannery tours, a keiki fun zone and an exhibit of photos and plantation life memorabilia.

Entertainment will be provided by Robi Kahakalau and Sean Na'auao, and proceeds from the event will benefit Hale Mahaolu and the Maui Community College Culinary Academy.

Former and current Maui Pineapple Co. employees will be eligible for prizes.
