'Aina Haina residents can now hear what happens at Kuli'ou'ou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board meetings on the Web each month about two weeks after the board's regular meeting. The board meets on the first Thursday of every month.

The Web site is www.nboard2.com and is designed to encourage citizen participation, said board chairman Bob Chuck. The site features online discussions, voice recordings of meetings and agenda notices.

The board's site was the brainchild of newly elected board member Peter Kay, Chuck said. The city-sponsored site for all boards is at www.co.honolulu.hi.us/nco/boards.htm.
