The largest single fund-raiser of the year for the Hawai'i Island United Way will be Saturday at the Mauna Lani Resort.

Known as "An Evening in Paradise," the fundraiser will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 for adults and $40 for children ages 5 to 11. Children 4 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Hawai'i Island United Way in Hilo, or at www.hiuw.org.

Top Hawai'i chefs have volunteered to share their creations at the event at Mauna Lani's Hale Hoaloha Pavilion and outdoor area.

Funds contributed to Hawai'i Island United Way are directed to 39 programs of 30 partner agencies.
