Among the words you probably never used all in one sentence: Yoga, fashion, cocktails and competition. Upscale Honolulu beauty and clothing store The Place brings them together for an afternoon event Saturday featuring that trendy mix, as well as a stretch-fest with Boston-based "yoga champion" Andrea Geraci.
The "yogalete" will lead a free class from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ward Warehouse store. At 2 p.m., you can get your questions answered about Cor, a soap made with silver. Then from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., you can sip drinks during a yoga fashion show featuring items from Plank, a self-described "edgy" yoga lifestyle design shop from Boston. 943-1413.

You don't have to do 1,000 crunches a day to get flat abs. You do have to watch what you eat. "The Abs Diet for Women" (Rodale, $24.95) lists the so-called Powerfoods that will help you achieve a six-pack: almonds, oatmeal, olive oil, etc. Mix proper nutrition with exercise; add some cardio to the mix and watch your abs define themselves.
