Author and poet Frances K. Kakugawa will read from her work at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the children's room at Kapolei Public Library.

Kakugawa has written many books, including "Wordsworth the Poet," the tale of a poet mouse living in a Hawaiian rainforest. The story teaches children about the value of poetry and self-expression.

She will read aloud this story and then introduce her latest children's book, "Wordsworth Dances the Waltz."

The 45-minute program is recommended for children ages 6 and up. Call the library as soon as possible for a sign language interpreter or other accommodations.
