APISA TO COACH CU

Chaminade has named Christina Apisa as interim head women's basketball coach after Cory O'Dell left to become an assistant at Cal State Northridge.

O'Dell, who also served as CU's events manager and assistant sports information director, led the Silverswords to a 6-19 record in their inaugural season. Apisa served as his assistant.

Chaminade is conducting a search to fill the positions of events manager and assistant sports information director.
