Single lanes on Pali Highway in the Kailua-bound direction near the tunnels will be closed this week for guardrail maintenance and repairs.

State crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday.

The state Department of Transportation advises motorists to use caution while driving through the work area.

Drivers should also allow for extra travel time or find alternative routes.

Roadwork is weather-permitting.
