Pacific Islands Bible Church will host a free eight-week seminar that features the parenting principles of the book "Parenting Is Heart Work," by Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller.

The seminar will start at 9 a.m. Oct. 28 and will continue for eight consecutive weeks.

The seminar is open to the community. Childcare for kids in nursery and elementary school will be provided.

Registration deadline is Sunday.
