Police yesterday continued to search for a suspect in a possible attempted murder Monday night at One'ula Beach.

The victim was believed to have been slashed with a machete, officials said.

The incident was reported to police at 9:18 p.m.

Preliminary reports indicate the male victim is in stable condition, police said yesterday.
