Inside tomorrow's Advertiser, you'll find our eagerly awaited annual guide, Hawai'i's Best Restaurants. This oversized, full-color magazine features the winners of the 2007 'Ilima Award balloting and our critics' choices for best restaurants this year. It's been completely revised and substantially rewritten, with more than 25 categories of restaurants and takeout spots. Restaurant recommendations are up from 290 last year to more than 320 this year. And there's a helpful index by neighborhood. The guide is also available online at www.honoluluadvertiser.com. Don't miss it!

TV TRIVIA

"30 ROCK" RETURNS WITH MORE FEY HUMOR FROM TINA

Emmy winner Tina Fey returns at 7:30 tonight in the second season of NBC's "30 Rock" as Liz Lemon, the harried head writer of a fictional sketch-comedy show. Here are a couple of things you may not know about Fey — and Liz:

  • Fey likes to put some of her own experiences into Liz. For instance, both Liz and Fey were once rejected by a man who later went to clown college.

  • Liz's full first name is Elizabeth, the same as Fey's given name, Elizabeth Stamatina Fey. Unlike Fey, her character speaks fluent German.

    FINAL WORD

"So many bands try to sound like Joy Division but never seem to be able to pull it off correctly. Every single band in the world that is rocky and powerful seems to be compared to bloody Joy Division. It's an incredible accolade, really."

PETER HOOK | Joy Division bassist, in Billboard. Rhino is rolling out reissued vinyl and CD versions of Joy Division albums, in stores and online at rhino.com, while the film "Control," about singer Ian Curtis, debuts Wednesday.
