TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE:

"Journeyman," 9 p.m., NBC. In last week's opener, Dan found a smart way to convince his wife he time-travels. His problem is that he can't tell anyone else. In this fairly good episode, he leaps time zones during a plane ride. Modern security officials are not pleased.

"Chuck," 7 p.m., NBC. Two federal agents — the beautiful Sarah and the scary Casey — feud over handling Chuck.

"Prison Break," 7 p.m., Fox. Linc finds that someone knows where his son and Sara are. Meanwhile, Michael gets to know Whistler, whom he's supposed to help escape.

"How I Met Your Mother," 7 p.m., CBS. In a terrific episode last week, we met Robin's too-perfect boyfriend, played by Enrique Iglesias. Tonight, he attracts so many women that Ted and Barney pretend to be from out of town.

"The Big Bang Theory," 7:30, CBS. Leonard and Sheldon again try to help gorgeous Penny. This time they agree to sign for a package.

"The War," 8 p.m., PBS. Nine months after D-Day, the war slogs on. Germany's air power has been decimated and it is pounded by bombs, however, it assembles a million men for the Battle of the Bulge. Americans long for any good news; viewers will feel the same. We'll get some tonight, wrapping up the story of Sascha Weinzheimer, the little girl who spent years as a prisoner in Manila.

"Two and a Half Men," 8 p.m., CBS. Janine Garofalo plays Alan's date, who behaves strangely after sex.

"Heroes," 8 p.m., NBC. Last week's excellent season opener swirled with new plot elements. Peter is presumed dead after the explosion, and his brother Nathan is alive and drinking heavily. Claire and her step-dad are in a new town, trying — without much success — to go unnoticed. Hiro is in feudal Japan, disappointed to learn that his hero is a drunken Englishman. And Mexican twins who accidentally cause deaths are trying to sneak across the border. That continues tonight while Matt looks for the new killer.

"Rules of Engagement," 8:30 p.m., CBS. Audrey (Megyn Price) fumes when her sister (Heather Locklear) dates the shallow Russell (David Spade).
