An O'ahu service will be held for MARGUERITE KUULEIALOHA KEALANAHELE, highest officer of Hale O Na Ali'i O Hawai'i, who died recently. Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at Bishop Memorial Chapel, Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama Campus; service 10 a.m. All Hale O Na Ali'i O Hawai'i members are requested to attend in full regalia. An ordained minister, she lobbied Congress for federal recognition for the Hawaiian people and initiated the KAUINOA process by being the first to place her name. Survived by son, Edward Jr.; daughters, Francine Palama, Edleen Peleiholani and Mekela "Miki" Asejo; brother, James Wong; sisters, Esther Kam, July Jeremiah, Thelma Courtney and Carolyn Tomiyama; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.
