Las Vegas last week launched a new fleet of buses and trolleys for travel around the Strip and various city landmarks.
Collectively called the Vegas.com Arrow, the vehicles are equipped with videos about attractions and with touch screens that allow you to buy tickets for shows and tours.
Single-ride tickets are $2.50, or buy a $10 all-day ticket that includes the Arrow and the monorail, which has seven stops. Buy passes at hotels or at www.vegas.com/vegascomarrow.
Town Square, the new 1.5 million square-foot open-air shopping mall also known as a Regional Lifestyle Center, opened this month.
The $750 million complex has 150 stores, more than a dozen restaurants and a 19-screen Rave Motion Pictures theater complex. Also in the center are two parks, one for children with a tree house in a 42-foot live oak, themed playhouses, a hedge maze, a merry-go-round and a theater. The other is for grown-ups and has a pavilion for concerts, picnic areas and more.
