Employees of a Kailua company are donating time and money to help Windward students be prepared with back-to-school supplies and clothes this summer.

Employees at ANEW, which manages various business matters for other companies, say they are working with parents and other groups to raise funds in May for the project.

"We're putting together back-to-school readiness kits because we want to be able to empower kids with the things they need to succeed in school," said Lataunya Poyo, a project team leader.
