'Aina Haina resident Kekoa Young never thought about going into theater. Playing guitar was always his artistic outlet.

Yet, tomorrow he will perform in Army Community Theatre's production of "Grease" as Danny Zuko, a gang leader.

Young, 30, has been playing guitar for Round & Round, a contemporary Hawaiian band that has played in various Honolulu venues.

"It's been a lot of fun," Young said. "I learned all the lines and dance steps. I've surprised myself." On opening night, many of the seats will be taken by his friends and family, Young said.

"I don't think I can do another musical," Young said.
