Set to spin at Acid Wash

Sure, the rage-against-dodgy-pop anthem "Panic" claimed the immortal line, "Hang the DJ!," screamed at least a couple dozen times. By young Anglo-Saxon children, no less! But don't blame The Smiths' Andy Rourke, left, for harshing on '80s London turn-tablists when he returns to spin Brit-pop and stuff on Wednesday at NextDoor's Acid Wash weekly. Frontman Morrissey and guitarist Johnny Marr wrote the words. Rourke wisely kept quiet and played bass. We'd have probably done the same. Play me some Arcade Fire, Andy! Doors open at 9 p.m., $10, www.whoisnextdoor.com.
