Members of the Nanakuli High and Intermediate School News Media Class and Performing Arts Program recently returned from New York City where they attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Spring National Convention and attended several Broadway shows.

The convention was held at Columbia University from March 14 to 16. Students returned March 20.

The conference offered more than 150 breakout sessions in the areas of print and broadcast journalism and provided students with techniques and skills that they can apply to the school's news media products.
