Display boards detailing the state Department of Transportation's Kamehameha Highway Improvements Project are posted at Pearlridge Center Uptown in front of the Satellite City Hall through April 15.

The project focuses on improving the safety, appearance and traffic flow along Kamehameha Highway from Center Drive (Hickam Air Force Base) to Waihona Street near the Pearl City Sam's Club.

Planned changes include traffic signal coordination and timing improvements, sidewalk widening, landscaping and sidewalk barriers to help prevent jaywalking.
