Ahh, that new-car scent! You can get more than your fill at the First Hawaiian International Auto Show, which continues through the weekend at the Hawai'i Convention Center.
Among the attractions: Lots of new cars, gas-efficient models, expensive exotics (Maserati, Lamborghini and other wild things) and displays by the Scion Evolution Hawai'i chapter, the Aloha Mustang and Shelby Club of Hawaii and the VW Club of Hawaii.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow. Admission is $7 general; $5 for students, military and those 62 and older; $4 for children 7-12; free for keiki 6 and younger. Today is Military Two-Fer Day; tomorrow is Kids Day, which means those 12 and younger can enter free when accompanied by paying adults.
