"Life in the Pacific: Nanakuli," the artwork of nearly two dozen students from Ka Waihona o ka Na'auao Public Charter School in Nanakuli, will be on view at the Honolulu Academy of Arts Museum Learning Center Exhibition beginning March 31.

The display — featuring art in clay, pen, paint, pastel, printing and photography — was part of a seven- session outreach program designed to strengthen the students' cultural knowledge through the exploration of the academy's collections with the help of traditional island practitioners.

"Life in the Pacific: Nanakuli" will remain on display through April 29.
