The Kane'ohe Canoe Club will sponsor a cleanup and membership drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 18 at He'eia Pier, where the group stores its canoes and practices. Volunteers are welcome.

Members will clean the beaches around the pier.

The club will provide gloves, rubbish bags and lunch. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, pants and long-sleeve shirt.
