TOMORROW'S MUST-SEE
"Entourage," 7 p.m., and "Flight of the Conchords," 7:30, HBO. These comedies are opposites in every way except one: Both are very well made. "Entourage" is slick, catching Hollywood glitter. Tonight, Vince is back from his filming and ready to celebrate. Alas, the director won't show him a final cut of the film. And his agent, Ari, is obsessed with learning why his son might be rejected by a private school. "Conchords" is rustic and low-budget, with two New Zealanders struggling to get by in New York. It's also hilarious. Tonight, one of the guys gets a part-time job holding signs. Sutton Foster, a Tony-winner, plays his workmate, Coco.
"Slave Girls of India," 7 p.m., Oxygen. Lisa Ling offers a vivid picture of girls forced into domestic or sexual slavery. It's a deeply depressing story, but it has its heroes. That includes a valiant teen who performs rescues.
OF NOTE
"John From Cincinnati," 6 p.m., HBO. Last week's episode ended with a jolt, when Shaun — a teen, near death after a surfing accident — suddenly snapped out of his coma. Since he's the only person all the others care about, that's crucial.
"Bridezillas," 6 p.m., WE. The smart-aleck tone of the narration contrasts sharply with the nasty and upsetting events here, as the relationship between a bride and her adult daughter deteriorates into pain and rage. (That story started in the season opener, which reruns at 5 p.m.) A milder story, continuing next week, has a bride sniping at her future mother-in-law.
"Army Wives," 7 p.m., Lifetime. Last week ended with Denise (Catherine Bell) learning her husband is missing or dead. Tonight, Col. Holden's wife and Major Burton's husband (a psychiatrist) are held hostage by a troubled soldier.
"The Loop," 7:30 and 8:30 p.m., Fox. In the first episode, Sam is excited to be at a top business luncheon. In the second, he nominates Meryl (Mimi Rogers) for an award for female executives; she is not pleased.
"Friday Night Lights," 8 p.m., NBC. This rerun is away from the football field and into relationships. Townspeople are bitter about rumors that Lyla (girlfriend of the paralyzed quarterback) is having an affair with his friend, Riggins, and the coach tries to keep his daughter away from Matt, the new quarterback.
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 9 p.m., NBC. The parents of a murder victim say someone might have been trying to get at her fiance, a CIA agent. Surprises follow, in an interesting rerun.
