Self-publishing workshop free

Author Rich Budnick will present a free one-hour self-publishing workshop at the Kane'ohe Public Library at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Budnick will explain the advantages and disadvantages of self-publishing, how to earn a profit, how to find a printer and distributor, how to get your book into bookstores, and how to get the forms you need, including copyright, bar code, etc.
Budnick is the author of five books, including "Hawai'i's Forgotten History," "Hawaiian Street Names" and "Stolen Kingdom."
He also is the founder of the Honolulu Writers Conference.
